Most Easter egg hunts are for kids.
This one? It’s for you.
Treasure Hunt Bath turns your long weekend into an adventure — packed with cryptic clues, hidden corners, and maybe a quick pub stop along the way.
Whether you’re local or just visiting, it’s a fun excuse to get outside, stretch your legs, and discover some parts of the city you’d usually walk straight past.
Four days off is a gift — and whether the weather plays nice or not, this is the kind of plan that works either way. Coat or T-shirt, boots or sunglasses… just round up your mates and get yourselves into town.
You'll see the main sites like the Roman Baths and the famous crescents, but the real fun is finding the clues and spotting interesting details right there in the street.
Simple. You and your team follow a trail of clues across the city, using your phones as a guide. The clues are sent by Captain Bess — your mildly bossy (but oddly charming) pirate captain — and you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled to spot the answers in the world around you.
It takes around 1½–2½ hours, but there’s no rush. Stop for a coffee. Pause for a pint. Take a detour if something catches your eye. That’s all part of the fun.
No worries — we’ve got treasure hunts running all over the UK. If you’re off on a city break, check out the full list of locations and pick one that fits your plans.
It’s a great way to get your bearings in a new place — better than another tourist bus or wandering aimlessly in search of decent coffee.
“This was such a brilliant experience the technology was simple and easy to use. We had so much fun, the clues were just the the right level of challenge and the distance was very easy. The route was very interesting learnt lots about Bath and it was a perfect way to get introduced to a new city or just have a pleasant walk with your partner or fiends. Well worth the money! Cant wait to try the other cities.”
